PERSONAL | BIRTHDAY TALK + WISHLIST POLYVORE

Hi lovelies. So, thursday I am turning 18! I am very excited about it, but it is also very strange to realize time has gone by so fast. I can't believe I can call myself an adult by law and have the right to do a lot of things legal. Anyhow, I am just very excited and I can't wait to celebrate my birthday with my family and friends. My birthday is on a thursday, which means I need to go to school for a couple of hours. I actually don't have class anymore but on thursday we need to get our grading list and then I officialy have summer vacation. Outside of going to school, I will spend thursday (and wednesday night) with my family and friends. Saturday night I will have a birthday meal with a group of friends. I am very glad I get to spend time with my family and best friends (even know it sounds super cliché), but it's just the truth. Of course I enjoy getting presents, being around the people I love is the main thing that makes me feel blessed on my birthday.

Moving on to what I will get for my birthday from my parents (as far as I know). I will order this grey (or black, can't decide yet) Nike sweater. I have been looking at every place in my town (and even in Amsterdam) for this piece, but unfortunately it is quite hard to find. Luckily I've found the one I want and I will probably order this tomorrow. The next thing I'll get is a Persian golden name necklace. I have been wanting this for a long time and I am so glad about this present. To me this is a personal gift that I'll get from my family and I will carry it with me. The Persian alphabet because I am half Persian. And last but not least: the Nike Air Max 90. Let me just say that this is not something I'll get from my parents (unless a miracle would happen). I've been wanting this shoes for a long time and I was planning on getting them myselfs soon, maybe with a little extra money I might receive from family on my birthday. So from my parents it's basically the necklace and the sweater. Since I will shop soon because I am going on holiday and well, I need new clothes, 

I just asked for these two things. I am not going to ask for anything more, because I know I will be very happy with these two items and simply because I don't really 'need' anything at the moment. As I already said I am very happy to celebrate my birthday with my loved ones and presents and suprises are super fun, but absolutely not something I'll expect. 

I can't wait for everything that is coming up this week, and I hope you all have a wonderful week too!

PERSONAL | MY LIFE IN PICTURES NO.1

Hello everyone. Today I am starting a new series of posts that I will try to repeat throughout the future, which is a post calles 'my life in pictures.' In these posts I will show you pictures of my daily life to give you an idea what I experience everyday. If you want to follow me personal to see more, check out my instagram: saarjpg.

The photo above, was a big day in history for me. For the first time in ages, I wore trousers that were not black! Now, I am sure you are thinking: how is that special? People that know me, know that I wear black 24/7. I think I haven't worn a other color trousers than black in about at least one to two years (I know, how even). But with the weather being nice and all, I decided to do something different and go for this mom-ish jeans. I have been loving the mom and boyfriend jeans for such a long time and I finally wore it myself this day, haha.

I dyed my hair! My natural hair is dark brown but since october 2014 I had blonde ombre/dipdye. About three weeks ago I decided it was time for a change so I dyed it back to dark brown, but a little bit darker. As you can see on the photo above, it had a little purple glow to it because I only just dyed it that day. I love it and I a even planning on going darker, towards black.

Me and my friends went to town after school and found this little, cutest shop. It was similar to this little, original boutique you'll find in Amsterdam. The special thing was, that the clothing pieces were all imported from Japan and Korea so they were one of a kind. Also, the items were being sold for a very reasonable price. On the photos here, you can see boxes filled with the cutest sunglasses and other adorable items spread over the table. I don't remember the name of this shop, but I will go back to buy something (I must) and to make better photos.

Please don't mind the horrible snapchat quality, haha. So, to end this life in pictures article, I chose a snap I made where I had a coffee and maths date with a friend of mine. We went to a DE Cafe, just a few blocks away from my school. We met up here a few times because she was helping me with my maths (which I suck at). To make the study hours a little better, we took coffee and I took my usual caramal ice coffee.

Hello everyone! So as I did want to post something but wasn't really feeling like doing a lot of work I decided to do another tag.
